Kate Funk

Milwaukeean (that's a word, right?) Kate Funk creates these great cards from her Polaroid photos. She also has a hilarious line of cards featuring her cat AC in various settings and costumes. Adding to the humor is that AC is actually short for, you guessed it...Annoying Customer, named after the cat in Clerks. So really there is a lot of awesome stuff going on here. You can even follow Annoying Customer's own blog!

The Milwaukee Road

There is an old Milwaukee Road train depot here in Madison, and sitting outside of it is this beautiful train car. The station itself has been repurposed by a bike shop, which seems like a perfect fit. Especially considering a bike path runs alongside the railroad tracks!

Bubblesbinsburry

Heehee!! How cute are these little guys? Wood block toys from bubblesbinsburry. Made from maple and finished with everything non-toxic, these are perfect for the munchkins. The mustachioed ones are totally my favorite.

The Little Friends of Printmaking, a husband and wife duo of silkscreen artists creating posters in Milwaukee. I love their Tastee Treats print. Oh if only it were still summer and the ice cream truck was jingling by. It also reminds of Tastee Freez. I wonder if there's any of those still around...
