I was at the UW Arboretum last week and was lucky to come across this show of Brian McCormick's beautiful watercolors.

Chad Hagen is an artist and designer based in Minneapolis. I love these pieces from his Surreal Abstract series. I also really enjoyed Analog Controls and I Am Not a Number. You can see more of his work on his website and you can also purchase some of your very own on 20x200.

In 2004, I received my BFA in Painting & Drawing at the University of Michigan School of Art & Design and plan to enter graduate school for painting as soon as my wallet allows. Originally focused on realistic representations, mostly of the human form, my painting and drawing has taken on a much more intuitive quality. In addition, I am a freelance portrait and graphic artist; the latter has increasingly influenced my painting.
