I really can't say enough great things about Sardine. The food is incredible. One of my favorites, as you can see above, is the roasted half chicken. Simple and absolutely delicious. The pommes frites don't hurt either. The atmosphere is quite perfect, fancy but not at all stuffy. The outside deck is now open for dining in the summer and it has a lovely view of Lake Monona. If you are in Madison, you must check it out.

I will have to check this place out. We haven't been to too many restaurants yet since moving here but this one has been on the list for awhile. Maybe I'll take my husband there for our anniversary or something.
