Recently I've realized one reason I've been savoring long stretches of time at home on the weekend is the light. Winter's light changes so dramatically from morning into night, I find myself trying to soak up all of the different moods of light coming into the house throughout the day. Often I don't want to be out of the house too long on weekend days, because I only get those two chances every week. Right now it is a tie between early morning light and late afternoon light as to which is my favorite.
