Alisa Miller creates these beautiful, almost architectural pieces of jewelry from silver, oxidized silver, and sometimes a hint of gold. The contrast of the gold against black in the ring shown above is breathtaking. I love how she keeps such clean lines while still having the organic shapes. Those little branch earrings might be my favorite at the moment.

Oh, what a wonderful feature! Alisa's work is beautiful and polished and so unique - she's one of my favourite designers. She made a custom gold circle necklace for me (on the behest of my love, an anniversary gift) and it is a cherished, heirloom-quality piece.
ReplyDeleteAnd she's a total sweetheart to boot. :) Who can resist a girl who likes cupcakes and tea?
