Nature and art in Door County Wisconsin. The Peninsula School of Art was founded by Madeline Tripp Tourtelot in Fish Creek WI in 1965.
Included in the Peninsula Arts campus is the Guenzel Gallery. Together they form a center for education and exploration in the visual arts, including: lectures and symposium on art appreciation, history and career skills for artists. They also host special events such as the Plein Air festival and family-friendly programs for students of all ages and abilities. Year-round programming includes one to five day workshops in ceramics, sculpture, jewelry and metal arts, watercolor, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, and mixed media.
